World Nursery Rhyme Week-Nov. 11-15th

These fun and sometimes sing song rhymes are important, in fact critical to a child's early literacy skills. They foster vocabulary building and language development; rhymes help teach sound, timing, and repetition with patterns. Reciting nursery rhymes also help children learn concepts like colors, numbers and animals while also building body awareness with fine and gross motor skills. They can be done anywhere or anytime so add a few to your home (or traveling) routine.
